Here's my 75 Fury Custom.
Pretty much a stripper, 318, no A/C or power conveniences
Original paint & interior.
Avocado green (it doesn't get much more 70's than that)
Always had a thing for these cars. My grandfather & uncle both had one back in the day.
Took me a while to find one that wasn't a cop car clone

That very distinctive 71-77 4D B body look.

For some reason, they weren't that popular where I grew up.

I saw them on TV but not a lot in person.

They do make you instantly think "TV cop car".

We got a few members with those on here.

Yeah, it looks like the sheriff's car in Dukes of Hazard. I had one of those with a 318 up to 115mph maxed out....until the cops pulled me over.

I just parted this one out...Whoever had it didn't show it any love...Sat for 30 years before I found it and scarfed it up. The 400 H/P wasn't locked up yet...the transmission fluid was still kinda pink and there was about 87K on the 140 mph speedometer. It had a a 3.23 gear in a 9 1/4" open rear. Probably run pretty good back in the day...

Clint Eastwood drove 'um in some of his Dirty Harry movies and liked them so much he used them as his daily driver.

Don't forget William shatner as "Hooker". They drove these by the bunch. they were reliable cars, very solid.

Yes I loved watching TJ
I have some on DVD
Didn't realize that Eastwood liked them so much

I saw a interview when Clint was the mayor of Carmel Ca.He drove up to the Boars Head Grille (he owns) in one.The interviewer asked "Why do you drive that ? " his response,"Damn good cars, that's why."

Hahaha!!
That's so cool.
I must say, my wife & friends think I'm crazy for buying "an ugly car" like that.
But I just love them.. why?? Cuz they ARE awesome!!

Great Machine my best friend had one Police unmarked car it would do 150 mph 400 4 bbl tuff car I miss it long story short.

Ma Mopar put out some outstanding cop cars over the years. And she is still.

That's one of the things I don't get about the modern Mopar haters.

Foe decades all we could get in RWD was trucks.

Now we have 2 RWD cars, heavy duty trucks again, Hemi engines again, cop cars again, and even Challengers again.

What's not to love.

Did you know that the cop Chargers all are column shift? Joe public can only buy with a floor shift.Unless it is a auction cop car. Was told that they had to do it to make room for the computer stuff the officer's use daily.
Lets turn the time back a bit further than 75. For me one of the nicest 4 door B bodies is the 71 Coronet. Loved that front end styling. And only on a 4 door.

yep, but it's for the utility belt clearance.

When looking at what they wear, that has got to be uncomfortable.I don't know how they can even sit in a car.
