Tigers and Jagdtigers, and Panthers and Bears. Oh my ! The Sherman’s in the last photo seem so small compared to the heavy German stuff they went up against.
My Dad served in the later Sherman’s. The “Easy Eight” series, the M-26, M-46, M-47, M-48A1 and A2.
Then I picked up where dear old dad left off.
I was in the M-60A1’s mainly. But I was going through the transition to the new M-1A1 when I got out of the Army.
This is an old picture of me back in the day.
