Anybody doing any upgrades to their Race Cars over the winter?

Casey,

I agree!!!!

The issues are between you and Chris.... NENDRA should play no part in it.

Not saying that this whole pissing match isn't getting old. But hey, maybe it's just me.

haha ok NENDRA is awesome I forgot. My bad guys. Its good to be part of a club.

carry on... maybe one day I will be good enough to race with the NENDRA guys

:)

Stop acting like a child, go back to your other website and leave. Your horrible for this site and not welcome here!
And I doubt you'll ever be as good as any of the NENDRA Racers.:puke::thefinger::thefinger::icon_fU::icon_fU:

Wow! Have you ever been to a NENDRA event? Just because you particularly don't race in their events and have a problem with Chris doesn't mean you have to dog NENDRA. Very low class, IMHO. I don't race in NENDRA, and probably never will as my car is a 10.5 car, but that doesn't mean I'm going to dog someone else's program. If you want people to take what you say seriously, try showing some class. If you want to flame Chris, so be it. There's obviously friction there. Just don't act like a childish douche and dog an entire program that has several very talented racers and very stout cars. Like was said, bring your car to one of their events and see how you shake out. If you refuse to, it just shows that you may be just a little frightened that these so-called nobodies would trailer you in the first round. Rant over. :)

Listen to yourself.

I have said NOTHING bad about the racers of that series or their cars for that matter, Im sure they are all great guys with nice cars.I only have a problem with the guy who started it. It has nothing to do with that series. I told him to stick to his glorified bracket race where he makes the rules or did he not make the rules?. Why exactly is that so demeaning to the NENDRA program? Once again I said nothing about any fellow racers or NENDRA for that matter. If I offended any of you other racers than I am sorry. That was not my intention, I feel that it got taken the wrong way. Im glad that you guys are out there racing.

But, you are right I will never run one of those races. Only because I do not support the Administrator of the race. Which I think is obvious. Call me frightened or whatever you want, I race people better than me all of the time...

So with that said you all can go back to calling me all the names you can think of :)

And Chris, cant wait for the day I meet you in person It will be fun.

You all have a good race season, Im done with this bullshit. If ya all got something else to say to me you know where to find me :)

YOU MEAN YOUR REALLY OUT OF HERE? EXCELLANT
I guess another person figured you out.
I don't know how fun it's gonna be for you when you meet me one day, but I'm looking forward to it .
Your are 1 big :bs: artist. Later Whompin Wedge aka SLIM
enjoy those redeyes this year. maybe get some taller tires!:thinker:

:eusa_boohoo:i think the only mature way to settle all this trash talking is to both agree on a time and a place and run what ya brung lets see it settled on the strip and let that be the end of it, lets see the grudge match race scheduled on this forum and all us members here will be witness to the agreement then if one or the other doesnt show it will be known who can or can't talk the talk and walk the walk what do you think boys?

I agree!!!
He wont come to Beaver Springs, Pa. Its 5.5 hours away from me and one of the biggest NSS races of the year. His dad says he'll come to see his Pa. buddies. I'm there to race.
Grab a lane Whompin Wedge and let's settle it.
They have never been to NY, NJ to race so its only fair for them to come to Pa.It's half the distance for each of us.
I'm not driving to Ohio again. It's 12 hours away from me

He can get a little of this.:rev_in_action:

As usual you want to turn this into a grudge race or a he said, she said. I don't care if we ever race. You talk a big game but if you were serious about running this class (NSS) you would come to some of the races. We traveled thousands of miles to attend the finest true NSS races in the country. There is a decent NSS circuit (Not a true index race) but none the less a good race series on the East Coast, that is the 422 Motorsports circuit. Why aren't you running that?
You can come up with all the stories you want about us, but the fact is we race.
No disrespect to the Nendra racers, it is nice you'll got it going. A better description of your circuit might be a a Gasser or Hot Rod circuit. Does not fit the NSS format ( National rules) generally formed over the Country. Once again, no disrespect we wish you all the best.
We wish everyone a safe and successful racing season. Hope to see some of the very nice people I have met on this forum at the track'

A couple of pictures from the Monster Mopar race 2010 in St. Louis, considered the National Finals of the season. 84 true NSS cars in attendance.

well whompin wedge what do you think that sounds like a good place to settle this grudge you 2 have with one another equal distance for each of you to travel i dont have anything against either one of you but you guys should either stop the trash talking back and forth and move on or settle this thing on the track once and for all hell i may even drive from here in michigan to watch if it were to happen always wanted to go out to the beaver to see one of the great nostalgic events they host.

like i said in my last post nothing against either one of you but screw all the classes talking crap and mumbo jumbo just 2 guys 2 cars shut up and just race already and shut each other up!!! period.

Just for the record NENDRA is defined as the North East Nostalgia Drag Racing Association. The paragraph below is taken directly from the website:

This organization is designed to allow numerous types of cars to participate. It is based on the premise that we race to have fun but allows us to have a competitive spirit for all involved. Any American made vehicle from 1961 to 1974. This will allow all cars from the “muscle car” era to participate. New for the 2011 season, all cars in competition must run between 13.99 and 8.50. This will be a bracket style dial your own type racing with a breakout rule in effect. A Pro .500 tree will be utilized to limit foul starts and allow for more even racing. No red lights mean the racer has a chance to “race” the finish line, and the spectators get to see a better show. The object here is to create a safe, competitive venue for showcasing vehicles from the “Golden Age of Drag Racing.”

No where do I see anything about Nostalgia Super Stock in the name or description. It was devised to allow more variety of cars and not have the hard fast NSS rules. The guys that race NSS on the East Coast- CT, NY, MA and NH have to drive long distance at great expense and for long periods of time (mostly from NY metro traffic) to go to NJ and PA. That being said NENDRA gives them a place to race, have some fun as a group and live within a reasonable racing budget by driving less distance without tolls or traffic.

I will be treating myself to another visit to Beaver Springs this July. That in my estimation is the "mother of all" NSS races. If you've never experienced it you don't know what you are missing.
Just my 2 cents...:glasses6: "Sammy"

65' Dodge, This has been going on for a couple of years. We go to the race at Pittsburgh Raceway Park(Curt George Memorial) every year (Have been there the last two years) out of respect for great friend Mr. George. We will more than likely be at Beaver Springs this year as that weekend is free right now if none of the series NSS races get moved to that date. I have no problem jumping in my coronet myself and airing it out against this guy. It takes more than a home made video at a sea level track to impress me. That said I am done discussing it. poppaj

Here is a couple of pictures from Pitt, June 2009

Please do and jump in if you can fit that big gut into the drivers seat.
I went 9.40 at 3500 feet at lebanon valley. notice the window dial in.
Your big B1 motor against my Indy headed motor.
I couldn't care less about that Pittsburgh race honoring the curt memorial .
That trip is over 9 hours for me and I have no desire to race at any Chrysler classic venues.
If you want some of me grab a lane at the Beaver even trip for both of us.
Let's end this once and for all!
Your son SLIM thinks he can take me. Lets just hope the redeye doent bite him in the ***. What did you race like 4 times last year?

Slim, you coming to the Beaver this July?
Let's see who's Upgrades made a difference this year.
If I'm a betting man, I think I know the answer.
I'll give you the leave on the arm drop from the flagman. ok
Then when I win , you buy the beer.I'm cookin.

They are both blue, they are both legal NSS cars, they both run on 10.5's,that are both 588 ci,****,,,,,they should run side by side with very similar combo's.Use flagman and give the kid the leave so there's no "RED EYES":sleepy2:.If "I" were a bettin' man, nobody would take my bet!!!:bootyshake:That would make for one cool video, would get a GAZILLION HITS on U-tube:glasses6:

I think the other blue dodge has a 557 ci B1 motor now. He's a little smaller but I bet the other dodge s a real torque monster.
It would go down in history as the baddest NSS race.:wav:
:drunken_smilie:

would be a cool race..

but im not wasting my time with this crap again.. you called us out before and YOU didnt show. If we go to beaver springs maybe we will get a chance to line up.

end of story... remember this thread is about upgrades this winter......

Casey

AS it stands now we are planning on Beaver Springs as it looks like a open weekend for us. Sure we can race, would make a cool picture, but you better start in low gear. Our car runs better than you think. Last time out we went 1.281 - 60' and a 6.0 in the 1/8 mile. Just don't want it to turn into a big internet bash till then. poppaj

:idea1::pimp3:This could be awsome!!!!!!:icon_axe:The bad blue Dodges, side by side with Casey gettin' the leave off the flagman:3gears:,,,,OH YEA!:crybaby2::eusa_wall::BangHead::tied up:BEST 2 OUTA 3:icon_pray::icon_pray::icon_pray:.The fence will be lined on BOTH sides:icon_cheers::headbang::grin:.Betting allowed if ya can find someone to bet against ya:eusa_boohoo::cya::icon_wink::wav::sideways tongue::pottytrain2:

Honestly, both you guys have sick cars. Both run pretty damn fast, yet live so damn far away ....What started all this **** anyway ???

A few years back I posted who has the fastest NSS Car in the country and SLIM started bashing me stating that I said I had the fastest NSS car.
It turned into a pissing match and I asked him to produce a time slip or a video of his fastest time and ET.
He kept saying he went faster than me but no proof ever.
So i put up a few videos of my 9.22 passes back to back.
So SLIM put up in his avatar faster than the fish peddler(that's me) without any proof just fiction. Heres another video of another 9.22 pass on a 9.22 dial.
