A wrecked Camaro lol....and jamie was poking YY1It's a Camaro.
Same car same problem. Wheel hop till you thought it would throw the rear end completely from under it. I mean real bad!!A friend of a friend came by with a fairly new 67 with 327 stick and she let me drive it. Oh boy! It ran good but had some serious wheel hop and that didn't impress me much. Didn't much care for the slanted dash layout either.....
the Mono leafs were prone to wheel hop like a M-fer tooI remember hearing 67's had wheel hop because of shock location, they changed it for 1968. A friend had a new '69 Z/28, that thing could wind up like crazy and he had the right gear in it. They were great looking cars. Yellow like this.

yeah the 67-68 400 Firebird were cool *** carsHad a metallic green 69 Firebird. Liked those better. Picked it up really cheap since the engine had been blown. Those were the days we put Mopar engines in everything. Like a 318 in a Civic. The Firebird got a 440. Sold it a year later and finished college with no bills.
I liked the Firebirds more than the Camaro as well. Around 1973-1975, almost every day while riding a bike to school I went past one of these. Of course I had no idea that it was super rare...only eight were made, and just three of them were in Canada.yeah the 67-68 400 Firebird were cool *** cars
a bit more style & flash than the Camaros, same platform
had a couple early 67-68 Firebirds & later years a few Trans Ams
my step dad Bob was a Pontiac guy, GTO man
a lot of that rubbed off on me
Hope all this GM brand-x talk
doesn't negate my MoPar Man card![]()
