Always looking for a break... Anyone able to recommend a good supplier in Canada? Shipping to Canada usually makes stuff prohibitive. I have tried driving to the US and the UPS store thing but we moved an hour from the border. As an example a generic line lock is $45 in the US, almost double when it gets here.

I feel your pain... I just got back from signing off a $75 customs slip after paying $150 for shipping of a $1200 order :(

I inquired about these guys last week as the address is Canadian but some replies said they ship from overseas and all their prices are USD??

I know there are a few Yearone authorized dealers around Southern Ontario (forget exactly where...1 in Kitchener I think??) and Rudy Held gets a lot of positive accolades in New Hamburg area.

Just spent around $2000 on parts, and about $800 on shipping. Not including the customs that I'll probably get raped with. Think its time for me to get a p.o. box down in Buffalo.

Try PG classics ,they are in Canada,in the U.S. i always try and use the post office to ship (usps).UPS has there own brokers and rape you.Hope this helps

Purchased a Moser 60 optioned out to cost around $2400,was at my door in a few day,s for $3000 from Performance parts in Regina, they have warehouses in the US so no duty,s were paid

Thanks, did a quick compare on a Moroso 44050 Line Lock.

JEGS US $112.99 usd free shipping in US only $30.60 shipping to Canada total $143.59 no tax

Performanceparts.com $114.89 usd and $24.95 usd to ship total $139.84 plus tax. BTW that $24.95 adds 25% more to the cost!

Only real savings seem to be in the brokerage fees.

Think I better go back to buying in the US and having stuff free shipped to the UPS store an hour away in Ogdensburg NY. I save ALL the shipping. That can easily be hundreds of $$ here in Canada. I have no brokerage fees to pay and pay Canadian tax at the border (gotta pay the tax anyway). As long as I spend a few hundred dollars the driving costs are easily saved.
