Anybody up for a ride in my Fargo

They're 8 holes in the wheels, as stated "8 Hole Wheels"
(like American Racing or US Mag or something) not 8 Lug wheels
Ok now that makes more sense :BangHead:

My buddy has a very similar truck and it's a large 5x5? Bolt pattern

I'd love to have a 72- the only year Fargo in the 72-80 body.

I'm fairly familiar with GM's Canadian brands and models.
I've never heard of the Fargo before .
Heck ,as clean as it is ,I'd buy it just to see the DMV's expression when I apply for plates and a title
Fargo was building trucks before Dodge existed. Chrysler bought Fargo before they acquired Dodge, in fact. They continued to sell trucks similar to Dodge in the USA until the 1930s, when Plymouth Trucks took over. Here in Canada we still had Fargo trucks until 1972, but other parts of the world continued until the Chrysler Europe division was sold off around 1978.

Dodge trucks existed in Canada as well; Fargo trucks were sold at Chrysler/Plymouth dealers.

Helping dropping 318 engine and O.D. transmission in my buddie's 1956 Fargo. Converted to IFS, rack and pinion steering, power disc brakes.

No title. In the US, that will
require some extra hoop
jumping...
Plan on adding at least
$1,000 to the selling price
to legally drive on US streets.
DMV's in the US no longer
accept registrations as
proof of ownership.
Just went thru this crap.
Ended up with a bonded title
thru my insurance company.
It took a year and many
steps in between to be able
to cruise on a saturday night
US DMV's will have no
record of this truck.
DMV records in the US
are wiped every 7 years,
unless it's been reported
as stolen. If you have a
title...all's good.

$30-$31K now, it's still a great clean looking 4wd truck
Fargo was just the Canadians version of D or W series Dodge PUs

I'd love to have that truck, even if only a lowly 318cid
it's a short-bed short w/b 4x4, W100 Power Wagon, very desirable

I'd rather have that than any new truck
Unfortunately In my case
It just ain't worth dealing with customs & going to Canada to get it
that crap just adds thousands more to the cost/price
Many years ago a friend in Ocheleta Oklahoma wanted a sweptside. I found him a 58 Fargo v8 3 on the tree, with factory radio. All original except for paint.
I licensed it and drove it a little. He came up with a 74 Newport and trailer.US Agriculture stated the undercarriage had to be free of weeds and seed.
Hooked everything up. Back bumper dropped so far that he would never make the trip. I had pair of leafs that were over arched for one of the Chargers, and I couldn’t use. We put them on the Newport. Solved the problem.
He headed home, at US customs he presented my bill of sale, my registration and carried on.
He was there about an hour, said the Customs Officers were more interested in the FARGO than anything else. I have heard that a person might have to go through a Broker now.
( If wishes were horses, beggars would ride). If this was last year we would have offered to deliver it to you if you bought it. Only charged actual costs, fuel, food and lodging.
Pipe dreams on my part.

I think it was mentioned earlier. We have a registration card that we have to have with the car. It is our form of title.
