Anyone available to check out a car in Prescott Valley, Arizona?

Well I enjoyed checking the car out for Wayne ! One day I’ll be checking one out for me. Wayne made me a Gold Member , this is something he did not have to do. The car was only 2 miles from my house. Thanks again Wayne

Oddly, I've never watched the movie!

I agree Wayne is a really good guy, will be meeting him in person. Hope to look at his charger.

These are neat cars - they have engines in the front like typical muscle cars, not in the back like 911s and many other Porches.

I have never driven one but a buddy of mine said they are a great car to drive.

Good Luck!

Not too long ago the car was advertised for $8,000 and now it's $5,500, but is no longer running. There are several obvious things to address, but it's only time and money. There are a couple of expensive risk items (sink in more money and time) for this car. Some overdue maintenance items for this car with 125k miles need to be address too. The parts bill is tallying upwards quickly.:(:screwy:

The Porsche Excellence magazine market data says a 1978-1982 Porsche 928 is worth between $10,000 - $20,000 for cars in average to excellent condition with no repairs needed. Valued have been flat for more than a year.

I already have a shipper lined up. More money to add to the bottom line if I pull the trigger. :p

I still have a few more marbles to pick up from the floor.

I'll sleep on it tonight and let the seller know tomorrow.

He said it was running a month ago ? If I’m correct , I don’t believe it.
It will probably end up in a salvage yard when he moves back overseas. Of course, the yard will want too much for it too. :p :screwy:

I went back to my notes. The seller said the previous owner got it running and then he got got the car a month and a half ago.

Still, it doesn't add up.

I had a 944 Porsche in 86. Great handling car and rock solid performance, just under powered. It would run a flat 130 in 4th gear and lose 3-5 mph when shifted to 5th.
