Anyone Dealt With Imperial Services

i thought there was some kind of health or business problems that caused big delays/no parts shipped. i thought it was a one man show; could be wrong. i hope they are back up and running.
 
Again and I may be wrong but I remember that his family owner a foundry in Michigan making car parts for years.So I really don't know what happened. Keep your fingers crossed Kid.
 
I'm afraid my experience with them is the same as Darter6. They/ he must have caller
ID because the phone's never answered. Voicemails and emails are never returned.
I think if they were just honest about the time frame and the problems their customer
service reputation would be better served. I'm assuming my money is gone.
Having said that, if you can find the mount in stock somewhere I believe their products
are pretty good. If you can just get it.
 
I will call Steve an outright liar and a thief. One and a half years ago sent him $410 for a speedometer conversion. He answered calls originally, once he cashed the check- FORGET IT!
After one month I started calling and leaving messages- no return call for six months.
HE IS FULL OF BULL! After six months of this I sent a letter to him, asking for the money back, also that if I didn't hear from him I'd turn him in to the Internet Fraud Division of the FBI. After filing complaint to th FBI, lol and behold, a call from Imperial Services... Steve's wife saying another couple weeks. BS again, I did finally talk to him after over ONE YEAR and he had the nerve to be pissed off at ME, because I was yelling at him! He blamed the delay because his wife left him. What a DICK!
Keep your money and DO NOT deal with this jerk!
HE STILL HAS the $410 dollars HE STOLE!
 
Well I did use PayPal and he wont get paid for fourteen days unless I say so. So if I don't see the trans mount before then, sorry you don't get my money. (Advantages of using PP.)

He is involved in a few different businesses, which change all the time. Latest being some kind of web design and the goofy pop-up creeper.
Six months ago he answered the phone, and told me "How can I get your part done if I'm on the phone?" What an ***... after a year went by. I'm going to fire off a nasty email to his email address right now and let him know I'm bashing him online again! Still pisses me off

Has any of the dissatisfied customers here tried involving law enforcement or the local
BBB. Just wondering. If someone has sent him a check or money order by USPS, you might try to involve the Postal Inspection Service.
 
I filed a complaint with the Internet Fraud Division of the FBI. Imperial Services called me a month later and said my part was 2-3 weeks out. That was a year ago...
 
Still haven't received the trans mount from Imperial Services. I sent them an email on Monday demanding a tracking number and did not get a responce.

Started a report with PayPal today. They have you notify Imperial Services through PayPal so the communications are documented. Imperial Services has a note on PayPal, when you get to that section, that states "They are a small company, without a phone, and please be patient on receiving a responce. Useing email is your best option on getting a responce." BS!

Who the ____ ever heard of a company without a phone! I'll be on them like white on rice, until they send the part or void the transaction. Paypal is giving them to the end of the month to respond. Also PayPal has the payment on hold until then.

I would avoid any transactions with this company!
 
That was fast! They/he responded to PayPal with a "refund" even though he doesn't get the money till "shipped and received" takes place. My money was refunded by PayPal.

People like this shouldn't be allowed to have any kind of a business...

Ever have one of those "gut feelings" when you hit the "pay now" button? That's what I got when I made the order. I'm confident useing PP but it takes time to get your money back if things go south. His days are numbered...
 
And just received this email. Really!

"Your mount is complete and ready to ship. I will be doing shipping tomorrow (Friday) and next Tuesday.

I closed the dispute on PayPal and refunded your money. If you would still like the mount shipped tomorrow you can reorder and as long as I have the order by 2pm EST it will go tomorrow."
 
Anyone would have to be nuts to reorder - or even order from this clown after reading these posts. Thx for the heads up - with the costs of what he's posting being so expensive - and his so inexpensive - I'm sure he's still scamming a lot of enthusiasts. He won't get me
 
steve is a nice guy but after having them convert my 62 pb to work on 66up it left a bad impression on me since it took a very long time to get back my assembly and still it didn't work ,by the way I do have a new in the box trans mount from imp. services im not using if you don't get yours ill sell you mine just pm me.

Thanks squid. I ordered one from Classic Industries. It was their last one. Everyone else out there says that theirs are out of stock. I had to pay $26.00 for shipping too. I used five different discount sales codes that are listed out there and not a one would work! I'm hoping that Classic Industries inventory is correct. If not I'll be in touch.

No, he's not! As I said before, he is a liar and a thief! Please look under every dog turd in your yard, you may find him there.
 
Imperial Services was honest in the beginning when he was building his business.
Spoke to him about pushbutton trans cables.
He sod me one that I couldn't adjust the cable no matter hat I did. After 16 hours by me and my friend, we realized the sheath inside diameter was too big.
Steve was notified and sent me another one the same day and was apologetic.. I never tried it and its sitting on my shelf. I just fixed my old one with heat shrink.

Fast forward 2 years later and I ordered a 65 heater cone that he says are perfect reproductions, said it will ship at the end of the week, that was 2004. I still never received it and never picked up the phone again.
