I mailed a set of 68 Dart Bulge hood inserts out on 2/3 to Tennessee... They arrived in North Carolina and ended up being scanned multiple times saying they were "on their way to the next destination arriving late".. They finally were delivered today 2/15. Thankfully still in excellent condition as they were packaged in a tube. This is the first time since Covid I have had an issue with USPS and thinking it might just not make it there. Anyone else having issues with packages taking much longer to arrive?

Yes, I ordered a dash trim panel back in January and it still hasn't found its way yet. It went MIA for a few weeks...

It's frustrating. I called USPS about this package and got a few different answers as to why.... It's a new sorting facility in NC, Bad weather and trouble with keeping a full staff cause of illness. I can understand all of them but 12 business days when it was supposed to be 3 is unacceptable.

I mailed our amended tax return from Springboro, OH on or about June 6, 2024, and kept checking the IRS website to see if they had received it. I finally got notice Aug 16, 2024, they had received it. I then found my tracking number, and went on USPS' site to find it had been on a whirlwind scenic voyage around the USA and back to Utah finally. They are really losing it.

Had a good one lately. Pa to Dallas, 2 days. Dallas to Rockwall, TX. 6 more days. How far is Rockwall? About a 30 minute drive.

Yes. Been waiting on a refund check from State Farm since October. When it hadn’t shown up in Jan State Farm cancelled and reissued the check on 1/22. Still not here.

ordered some weld nuts 3 weeks later got a message from sender after my inquiry, said it may have been lost 2 weeks after that got empty package in the mail clearly opened on one end with a knife, then wife got a package, box and inner box was opened but they didn't want what she had shipped. someone is stealing mail in michigan. don't ship usps

The culture war has taken over the post office and now no one wants to work. That about all I can say here.........

I ordered small parts from Wisconsin to Florida, 3 weeks.
After two weeks I called Wisconsin P.O. and they said it left the day after receiving package.

Just had a small box of NOS heater ducting take 2-1/2 weeks from IA to WA. My guess is snow and ice, but who knows? Tracking said it basically sat at a distribution center most of that time.

Ya me too.
Over on the A bodies site i mailed out four packages of rebuilt brake parts. thru the USPS, to a buyer all the way across the country from me, to Maine.
Whenever i mail out multiple packages of parts to the same person, i always inform them that they may not get all of them on the same date.
Three of them got there within a day or two of one another, and that fourth one went to all of the New England states, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, before it finally got to my buyer in Maine.
How the heck do they miss direct a package, when they all are addressed the same, and going to the same address?
That fourth box took an additional eight days to get to him.
Glad he didn't think i was ripping him off with the parts sale.

Anytime I have had something sent to me USPS, if it is routed through a center in Illinois, it goes missing for days, and arrives a week or more late.

I have a USPS account so I can do all my shipping right here from the house. Most times I utilize Priority shipping as it seems to navigate and clear the USPS system much quicker. Their USPS Ground Advantage program will save some $$$ off what Priority costs, but it then becomes snail mail slow and takes a whirlwind tour of the whole system which can take days and even weeks. However, for the most part, I have had great success with the USPS so maybe I am that rarity...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

Yep.
Sold a hockey stick on eBay, said weather delay when there wasn't weather. The stick took almost two weeks to arrive. Buyer wasn't happy. But UPS was almost $200 to ship, FedEx isn't trustworthy and was about the same.

So far, just once. Mailed a package to NV and it went east from Texas (iirc to NY) then across the northern states before making it into NV. I'm guessing that was about a year ago or so.

I dropped off a large flat rate priority box with the USPS on Thursday and they said the estimated delivery date to the Pennsylvania destination is Tuesday (i.e., the day after President's Day; closed for the holiday). The package was actually delivered yesterday (Saturday).

I went out last night and bought a lottery ticket just in case I'm on a run of good luck.

The USPS has been very reliable for me overall. This experience was frustrating and thankfully the buyer has dealt with before so there was frustration but not with me. I had pictures of the package and label and it was in the system when I said it would be. Hopefully this does not become the norm as other shipping companies are always higher to ship with..

Yep I had packages go coast to coast in 2 days... It does make you scratch your head when one takes almost 2 weeks and it's only a few states away..
