Anyone grow hay? Timothy in particular?

For a PD, couldn't you go with hydroponics and have fresh feed all the time?
That has crossed my mind too......
 
I can get you a big round of Timothy and Bromus mix for $135, could probably get 30 pounds for free, but shipping would still be $25 or $30.

Fresh is probably tastier, healthier, and more enjoyable.

Timothy? Some guy by that name that started growing it here a couple hundred years ago.
 
They outlawed round bales where I'm at
because cows were unable to get a square
meal.....
