Car just arrived and I'm going over it real good. Trying to find out what the original floor pan looks like on these. I have decent floors but with an strip of sealant (1 1/2" wide or so) around the outline of the pan as well as the hump. No obvious welds but I'm a rookie and haven't seen a bare pan before so curious if this ones been repaired. I'll try to post some pics later.

check out amd's website they sell a one piece floor for 62 to 65 b bodies and should show a picture of one that should give you an idea on what yours should look like good luck with your project 65s are cool cars.

I don't recall ever seeing seam sealer down the driveshaft tunnel from the factory. :icon_scratch: See if you can get a look at the underside of the driveshaft tunnel.

Just got it home and missing the fender tag. Have some pieces of the build sheet. Who has a broadcast sheet decoder link for these?

The one from Keisler looks just like mine. Was the factory four speed tunnel and floor pan all one stamping or two piece? My assumption buying this car was the 4 spd was adapted at some point but the seam sealer matches all the way around. Owner said it's been a four speed since his family bought it about 18yrs ago and no info prior to that. Thoughts?

Found these two 65 pics of a 65 hemi restoration and the hump in the original floor pan appears to be two piece from the get go. Can anyone verify this? Thanks in advance!

Added pics

Got the interior out today and added a couple shots of the floor pan. Seam sealer all the way around the hump and the red paint from hump to floor is a perfect match. Wish the fender tag wasn't missing...

The 62-65 cars all shared the same floorpan and when a four speed was called for, a hole was hacked in for the shift hump and then was welded and seam sealed.

I have a couple pics here where you can see mine, and the car has the factory floors and 4 speed.

Oh, and if you don't have your fender tag can always have your VIN decoded by the Chrysler Historic Society.

I hope the hat with the bow tie on it is a shop rag or spark shield :toothy9:

Think mine looks to be torched out as well. A fair bit of road grime disguising it.
