Anyone in Myrtle Beach Area willing to check out a Charger?

Yes, a great shout-out to @T2R9 for helping you out!

Can't speak on the price but for a 318, would think you'd take 10k off the price, as 383s or 440s are more desirable. 426s are in another dimension price wise.

Now perhaps lower numbers of 318s were produced which may make it somewhat rarer, but not as rare as a 6 cylinder Charger, so I'll let those experts chime in.

As a point of reference l bought my 68 Charger, 383, Auto, base model in 2017 for 26k. I've probably put 20k into it for basic fixes as well as taking off after market parts and putting OEM parts back on, where l could but also reproduction parts in some cases.

Well, thanks for all the feedback, and Merry Christmas.

Yeah I'm looking specifically for a 68 charger, but I might change my mind later but for now that's the ticket.
Lots of folks said to get a California car, which is fair.
the point is the market for these is nuts, and there are almost no "Driver quality" cars for sale.
Basket cases are in the 30K range, and then there is a big jump to "finished" cars.

Thanks for the thoughts on this!

I hate to say it, but his asking price isn't that far out of line ..... but only if the car is solid car & not a bondo-filled roach. In today's market, I'd say that 40 is more realistic. That said, you'll still be into the car for a hundred grand (minimum) to make it right.

Offer 40 and go from there. If its solid you cant beat the price. I will have well over 40 in my 70 318 charger when done. If its a driver and all there its a good deal.
