Anyone in their 70’s to 80’s that knows carbs very well ?

I’m not sure what this carb goes to. But, I have a good guess based on where it comes from. Anyone on here in their 70’s to 80’s that knows carburetors very well ? I dont want to say what I think it belongs to, because I’m not positive. It’s a 1 barrel, look at the very awkward clear cover. It’s definitely not Mopar.

"Visiflow" Glass bowl Holley model 1904. https://carbkitsource.com/manuals/cm003.html Likely from the 1950s. You saw a lot of them on I.H.C. four cyl. engines, most of the carbs had metal bowls.

I assumed he had these for or from the tractors. But, I also thought that maybe it was for the Model A cars. But, I couldn’t accept they would have been for any model A type car with the clear covers. But, I wasn’t sure.

I don't think they were around in Model A days. They were used on most 50's to early 60's Ford six cylinder engines, 59-62 Rambler sixes and the I.H.C. Scout 4 cyl. from the factory. There were also aftermarket 'hotrod' intakes that would mount two or three of these carbs for an inline six. Right click and save this pdf for specifics.

That is identical to the carb that was on our 58 Rambler, it’s still around here somewhere. I’ve never seen a farm tractor with a downdraft carburetor, except for Ford V8 conversions.

You could be right & I'm wrong. Worked on a lot of Ferd products back then & memory isn't as good today!
