Oooooooo. Ahhhhhhhh.
There was a 67 440 4 speed Charger that color cheap on ebay last year.
Wanted it REAL bad.
LOVE that color.
Thats right. It's a project car, but it had been used mostly for occasional racing when it was almost new. The very straight, very solid body didn't even have a door ding in it (I saw it when it was stripped down to bare metal). I doubt it had been out of the garage in 30 years.
My friend (here in Virginia) who is doing the body work on my 68 Charger had purchased the car from his neighbor. He finally decided to put it on e-bay when he decided that his priorities would always be with 68-70 B-bodies. He eventually ended up selling it to another buddy of mine (in Massachusettes) who is storing my 67 Belvedere wagon for me. The brother of the guy who owns that rare 4 speed 67 440 Charger, has a restored automatic 67 440 Charger. Both are original 440 cars.
