anyone seen page of 2 door body repair using a 4 door car

i am looking for a web page that i seen last year of a shop that used a 68 coronet 4 door and turned it into a 2 door car. it had lots of pics. the 4 door was gold i believe. anyone seen this page?

My bud printed a pic of it off because he was going to do it to his 4 door Coronet a few years back.I'll ask him if he has any info on it still.

That will be great. I'm glad this subject came up. I have a buddy with a '62 4 door Dart and we were talking about making a 2 door out of it, then maybe into a sudo Ram Charger. He has a couple of 413s to replace the 318 Poly.

I am using a 4-door belvedere front clip to restore my 69 RR.

Here are some pics.

I am also using a 4-door satellite hood webbing and converting it to my 69 RR webbing (some fabrication needed).

Pics of that too.

nice pics rgac. i just bought a 68 4 door coronet for 1200 that is real solid. i want to transplant the entire floor and frame rails from the firewall seam all the way to the rear tail panel onto my bee, that is if it is actually all the same. it is way cheaper to do it this way and i plan on doing it in one piece. the only bad part is the i have to destroy a real nice 4 door car. i seen a perfect web page where they turned a 4 door into a 2 door but i cannot find it now.

Roofline is different between 2-door and 4-door 68-70's, correct? front and rear window rakes are different.

That doesn't make it an impossible change - just more complicated than the video of the chevy conversion.

Believe me, I have a 4 door in relatively great shape, but the amount of work to convert to 2 doors is intimidating.
