Want to start the suspension rebuild by getting some bilstein shock, I see PST has a 4 set for $419. Has anyone used these>

im curious as well...been strongly considering these for the olde GTXer myself.

yep I'm using them but in my 76 Coronet...... I'm sure I'm considerably heavier has than you guys, BUT they did make a huge !! difference, if you'll check my pix you'll see my ride is a true sleeper, she's been lowered, and has some pretty damn nice running gear...anyway this car handles beautifully, not only did the Bilsteins improve driveability, they vastly improved side to side stability, cornering, and helped stablized the nose diving under heavy brake use....

Don't for get about our members discount too. We also have the Bilsteins for FMJ bodies now too.

Thanks
James

What's the code at checkout? Also is paypal an option to pay?

Yeah this price is a set of 4 plus bilstein is one of the best brands. others like QA1 and comp engineering are made mostly for racing of some sort. the kyb's i have on there now are sagging along with my rear springs I could just replace those for $25 a shock.

Too bad there is no paypal feature for check out I was ready to pull the trigger, my CC rate is too high to use anymore so it's not worth it.

Go to Walgreens and buy a visa gift card then use the gift card on line or over the phone.

Too bad they don't sell on Ebay would be a snap as a buyer.

Got mine from Hotchkis. Bilstein. And worth the $$$.

I got a set from firm feel. A couple of things to keep in mind for anyone doing a 73 or 74 Roadrunner or satellite. First, you have to modify the opening on the lower control arm just a bit to get the shock to fit through, its only about an 1/8 of an inch of metal that needs to be removed. Second, the Bilsteins fronts dont come with the correct bushings for the front shock upper piston rod, they are non-collared busings and a collared bushing is required for the pistonrod mount in order for it to center properly, however, i worked with Firm Feel to help them find the correct ones, and they now will be supplying the correct bushings for this application. Great guys there !!! Third, the front shocks dont come with the cover that goes over the piston rod, this is because it would never fit in the opening on the k-frame or bind, but should not be a problem since the k-frame encloses and protects the rod.

Nope. They would have to charge more because of ebay fees, ebay car guy tip, find a part you want, pm the guy and ask him how much to buy it off ebay - you can usually get an easy 10-15% off
