Anyone use PST lower control arm shafts?

Guys, THIS is his signature trait....He loves to piss on chassis modifications that people do to their cars. This exact same bullshit was his standard practice at the Moparts site. He thinks that his "education" puts his opinion well above everyone else.
Yeah? Well I have known some educated people, including engineers that have had some incredibly stupid ideas that are supported by their calculations.
If you have no common sense, no amount of higher learning will make you smart. There are intelligent engineers and dipshits with degrees.
Regarding the last sentence from JCC in the above post...
As a carpenter, I knew that 3/8" plywood provided adequate shear strength in walls and that is my main point, how do you know and why is it needed and that even doubling the thickness to 3/4" would be a matter of diminishing gains. The same applies to gussets in structural metal framework.
If you don't have a front sway bar and don't drive aggressively, the gussets may be dead weight but even then, so what? What is it hurting? You can advise people against it based on your opinion that it is a waste of time but your responses read as if you have some personal interest in what others do to their cars.
It may be right that these modifications have no actual value. Who has a chassis jig and high speed measuring equipment to monitor the flex and movement? If the car feels more solid and responsive after the changes, who has the right to bitch about it?
A bit thin skinned are we?

You know the OEM rubber Strut bushing is designed to freely allow each wheel's lower BJ to move longitudinally nearly 3/8" in normal operation?

Inform us why you are not making the gussets out of 1/4" material and making them even stronger.
 not using rubber I like that hard slamming no give polygraphite bushing. 1/4" would exceed my weight limit allowance.

A bit thin skinned are we?
No just tired of being trolled by the sites “engineering “ Karen. You obviously talk a lot but really don’t know ****. I doubt you’ve ever accomplished anything remotely useful. Either show us an actual analysis or STFU.

Ironic, I've been asking for proof the LCA needs reinforcement in the the first place from day one , and all I get is "It can't hurt"
That is some backyard engineering.
And NOBODY has yet to make any case that disputes as you say, my "karen talk"?

Might also want to contact QA1 and give them some reinforcement suggestions on their recent unboxed LCA offerings "that can't hurt"

Have you done any analysis to prove QA 1 control arms are necessary? Doubtful because you obviously are a ****-talker who can’t back it up. You’re not capable of engineering anything.

I read where you say you are/have been a welder (or is that weldor?) for 5 decades? Well, I've been doing that and working on cars for even longer than that but I'm no engineer. Thing is, most engineers don't have any 'field' experience.....just book smart and to me, that don't cut it. Anyways, you said your piece/opinion many times here in this thread and it's time to move on before one of us moves you.

Personally, I sure can sympathize with curiosity when working with cars. I wonder how things work and why they do or don't.
It is extremely annoying though when someone questions everything and expects others to validate their beliefs.
If you think my "upgrades" have no value, it is up to YOU to disprove my efforts, I shouldn't be expected to prove my work to please you.
If I am wrong, after the sting of being wrong wears off, I actually am capable of appreciating the opportunity to learn and to improve BUT all of that is heavily dependent on how the argument is presented. If I feel attacked or insulted, I will dig my heels in and fight back.

Even though I have argued my point more than once, I found out that some just like to argue and what ya end up with, especially on the internet, is that you have some that are trolls and love to stir the pot just to piss off the ones that fight back. And generally that's when the name calling starts and on and on and things get way out of hand and the thread gets shut down. I've had people tell me "this is just the internet and I enjoy pissing people off" and well, that guy got a nice send off after a short while.

I usually only share personally what is pertinent to the conversation. Nobody has shared they are a certified welder in this discussion that I have read. What is what I perceive "unfair" here is rather than others addressing IMO legit technical question(s)/concerns(S), for reasons that escapes me, the responses often go ad hominem, and to not expect then in fairness a pointed reply seems rather unfair, even if I have the ability to often do such and not sink to such crass immature levels. It suggests self-censorship on my part.

If my question was simply addressed, ignored, or mentioned they don't have an answer, the case is effectively "closed". It seems that is a bridge too far for some, and we have this game of everyone must get the last word in. The proof is right here in this thread for anyone caring enough to see it.

Your comment on field experience has a lot of merit. I personally try to stay in my lane on topics I have knowledge/experience of or wish gain additional insight.
Those that underestimate me or anyone else risk choosing the weaker position in making their points.

I'm here to gain further knowledge/insight, and when that becomes futile, I will find the door.

Thank you for your comment.

Well, you....imo, overstated your comments and more than a couple of times.....and then say responses go ad hominem? And who was it that gave the bird to the other member??? You've said your piece and I've said mine. Laters.
