I was on a site that sells dakota digital stuff and they claim this dash works from 65 to 70 in a coronet. Anyone used one with success in a 66 coronet?
Thanks in advance.

Where I see that part number being sold at different sites it says '68-70 Mopar B Body.

Dakota Digital RTX-68D-STD-X Mopar 1968-1970 B-Body

1968-1970 Mopar B-Body, Coronet, Belvedere, Satellite and Road Runner

With that said, I emailed Dakota Digital awhile back and asked about a dash for a '67 Satellite/GTX, which they didn't show anything for on their website, and they emailed me back with a photo and said they have done a few of these now. I'd email them and ask if they have done any of yours yet.

Vivid racing lists it as being for 65 to 70 coronet but belvedere is 68 to 70

I would trust what Dakota Digital says VS any other site. Why not get it from the source.
I sent them an email, I was hoping someone on here had actual first hand experience.

Heard back from DD, and they say it doesn't fit. So I called vivid racing and spoke with a tech guy there about their ad saying it fit 65 to 70 coronets. He said yeah, that needs changed. He said, you can try it, but you may not be able to return it. So I may look for a 68 or 69 stock cluster and see what the differences are.

I have a stock 68 cluster laying on my trunk lid in my shop if you want some measurements. Can't imagine it would be worth shipping to you if the basic measurements kill the idea.

Sure toss them up in here along with some front, back and side pics. I'll get it apart and see.

I have to agree with pnora, based on my memory of what a 66 Coronet dash looked like. That said, here are a couple of pictures of the stock 68 standard instrument cluster...

I mainly added the Dakota Digital pictures because I was bothered by the fact that they only list a unit with a 120mph face. I wrote them explaining that their dash was nice, but I would be paying a lot to have my 68 R/T have a speedometer that only showed 120 vs 150 mph. They informed me that they would (and have made) make a 150 face for an additional cost, so that's what I bought. I know I am weird since I have no fender tag, and no build sheet, but it would bug me to have 120 showing on my speedometer. The heart wants what the heart wants.
