looking for someone with a desktop dyno for testing 2-camshafts. 1-solid and 1-hyd. thanks
I use performance trends software. Next question is how many good numbers do you have to put in the program? Compression ratio, cylinder head flow, intake runner length and area, header diameter and length, carb size, what kind of accessories, what kind of fuel, remember garbage in garbage out. I have a real dyno and the program is accurate to 5% majority of the time. And if it is not usually we find something wrong with the engine like valve springs excess cylinder leakage, etc.looking for someone with a desktop dyno for testing 2-camshafts. 1-solid and 1-hyd. thanks
I am willing to spend my time to help, if you have good numbers to input.Personally I don't care if the program is accurate within 5% or 20% - the objective is "comparison". As long as the accuracy is the same for each combo that's all that matters. They get you in the ballpark.
have everything but the intake runner and exhaust. running a rpm performer intake and stock HP exhaust manifolds. rebuilt engine so valve springs and ring seal are good. 168-172 cranking compression in all cylinders.I use performance trends software.
