are there ANY built up 75-79 B Bodies out there?

dare to be different, especially with these late B Bodies, as the concensus is that these cars will never be worth anything anyway LOL . so why not ? my 1977 dodge charger wanna be R/T SE. i also ditched the bumper gaurds and i have my front bumper on stand by, but it looks so mean without it....

Definitely get better pics. Is the hood scoop light or dark blue? How come you took off the fender/door emblems? I don't see how anyone could hate on late b bodies after seeing yours, so does that ever happen? A hardtop would be cool, but really the only thing to dislike would be the bumperettes. Give any thought to shaving those and/or going for a 1 piece grill?
Better pics will be taken soon. The scoop is dark blue coming to a point in the front and flaring out at the base of the windshield. The rest of the hood is light blue, and it's all seperated by the 3 color blue striping, like the rest of the car.
Hardtops are cool, but I love the T-tops! Well, until it rains anyway! LOL! Most people have no idea they even made Mopars with them until they see mine.
As far as the emblems, I don't leave 'em on anything I have. Rides just look so much cleaner without, IMO. I did give some thought to it, since hardly anyone knows what it is, but who cares? I know, and most of all the important people know, so away they went!
I really don't get any haters on it, mostly nothing but compliments. Well, to my face anyway. Every once in a while I overhear someone at a show say something about "why" and "that $ in that car?" and so forth. I just laugh about it. Those that don't know that this is all about personal expression and fulfillment are the ones missing out!
I agree that the bumperettes are something of a nuisance, as is the eggcrate grill. I kept the bumpers for now because I have a cool hidden disconnect switch for the track hidden under one in the back. I will eventually probably lose them, though. Probably go with some sort of billet grill as well. I don't want to lose too much of the original character of the car, but damnit, it's gotta be smoooooother!:glasses2:
And guitarguy, thanks for playing! That is another awesome ride!

super77SE I think its one nice looking car, you went the extra mile on it and it shows, Id be afraid of wrecking it without the front bumper, my nerves arent that strong i guess lol. It could really mess up one nice looking Charger! Its yours, im just sayin bud, It does look cool but would worry the heck out of me.. I bet that would look cool with amber colored parking lights/turn signals..

thank you for the compliment Ron ! if i were to hit something with or without the bumper on it, it really wouldnt matter because i would be just as upset LOL . i rarely find myself BEHIND anyone hehe. there is a mile of front end on these cars. it is no trailer queen by any stretch , i drive it about 30 miles a weekend in the summer up to a little gathering we have in town. i live out in the sticks so i really dont find myself in traffic very often. :)

Wow! I don't see many 75-79's around, and they don't get much respect from the masses, but the cars on this thread are SICK! Well done, guys. My opinion on your era of cars has shot way up. I can't over how awesome that T-Top 'Doba is...

Nice Cars guys, you don't see too many any longer...

I live in the sticks to, but im NOT that lucky! lol.. Id bet the first time out id do something ha ha... I bought new tires for the front of my car today, carried them to the porch and threw one up on it rolled clear to the other side (18 ft) and almost off the other steps.. How lucky am i to take the bumper off? LOL>> Nope, not me.. :)

CHEAP! Really, there 70 dollar tires, now a day cheap.. Were getting new rims but not sure when we can swing it, so i had to have tires and thanks to the look of the BFG tires on djais blue beauty, weve decided to go with the BFG tires (not sure yet on rims) I had to have them, my car took close to 7 years, my brother in law had these old Cragars on his Cuda and the inside of both tires worn and getting bad now so i thought this a good idea... Were not going the same size next time so i bought these to get me thru until....... There called "Guardsman" They should get us thru safe until its time.. They have others cheaper, but not going that far...
