In the garage. Under the hood. Again.
Well now;a fine day for a gathering of iron, old and new(I ask "Why?"),and Sabrina(yes,I've now "named" the Sport Fury...) and I ventured down there. Other than some well-meaning gawkers who got too close for my comfort on the expressway,it was a great and uneventful drive. And...there were Mopars. Lots of Mopars. Lots of NICE Mopars. So,without further ado, let's check 'em out:

Oh,I took 95 pics;I may post them all!

Did I say 95 pics? Umm;that's a lot. Joey may charge me for bandwidth use...

Some more cool stuff;I really liked the Arrow with the small block. 'Twas very well done.

All right,I think this is the last of the cars. I would have snapped a few shots for the "Cars,Babes and Everything Else" thread, but would have been met with objections from husbands and boyfriends. Could have ruined the day...

There's a couple of "other" brand cars, just cuz I was diggin' them. I did pick quality ones, however.

OK;here's the "other" cars. Some were quite nice;overall quality of the cars there was top-shelf. There were a few,uh..."What is THAT doing here?" types. i didn't get pics of those...

Awesome pics, perfect day for it, wish I could have been there. Thanks for posting them.

What are the wheels on that 65 Corornet 500? Those are bad ***. I guess you got the tranny leak all squared away. Thanks for sharing. Only thing missing are pics of your car.

Moparker;I think those are Halibrands,or a Hali copy(Wheel Vintiques?). They definitely look different from what one usually sees on an old B.
The trans was rebuilt(no leaks, shifts good!),the power steering leak fixed, and a small coolant leak and rear pinion seal drip are the only issues along those lines. I was parked between a gorgeous 1950's era Jaguar XK120(may have been a 140) and an equally nice '33 Willys gasser-type ride. Had I parked near some Mopar iron,I might have snuck a pic in there of my girl.

Hemi-itis;I ain't no Dave Wallace, but I'm working on it. Part of the problem was the sun's location in relation to how the cars were parked. Some shots had to be taken facing the sun. Add to that the folks who look right at you while you're setting up a pic, then walk in front just as you click the button. No problem if it was a hot woman(which didn't happen);usually it some fat old dude with plaid shorts and black socks(who took a break from polishing his new Vette) who was the worst and most-common offender. I want a "Death-Ray" option on my camera;I could just zap the miscreant(s) into oblivion.

Quick! In the first shot, what color is the black Road Runner?

Yeah;that was just a test.

Sorry to see Mr. Jenkins in bad health, but he's still here. I (along with a few zillion other folks) would love to have about an hour's worth of conversation with him. I'd still be like a goofy kid,in awe of a legend, and would probably come across as a maroon-maybe not... Bet he loved seeing one of his old cars, though.

There was some worthy material at the Armada show:frog::frog::frog:;just not the right opportunity. Can't just walk up to some fine looking woman-with her ol' man there-and ask her to pose.:eusa_naughty: I didn't get to age 54+ by being a complete idiot.:black_eye: Some folks may just be braver than I-but how long did it take before the wires in the jaw were removed?
