My bad, driving mine sooner than later, see I told you I enjoy seeing pic of Green Machine!

Post a pic I would love to see it and thank you i enjoy theses cars and talking to people about them .
Bought the car in February, had small engine fire, soot was everywhere. Factory BB car, 361. Haven’t had a Plymouth since 1989-90. Beginning intentions was to get car mechanically reliable, rebuild front & rear suspension. That all changed when the 361, developed a burnt valve, less than 150 miles. From there the car has been a case study, lol. Front suspension done. A 400 engine almost done. Pulled trans out two weekends ago. Like you, the car is put up for winter, logistics is the cause for that. I don’t have many pictures of car.

Very cool that engine is going to make some fun next summer.

In the process of putting another transmission together that will accommodate my vintage turbo action 069J converter, these are very hard to find and they work like magic. The transmission is a 1972 that was behind a 440 4 barrel Plymouth cop car and the corresponding flexplate . The plan is to the 60 foot time down a few tenths the trans in the car is the original 66 19 spline transmission stay tuned…

I like it, but those are about a 5-5500 stall? What's the cam again?
It will pick up... but you're going to have to really Rev it to keep the converter locked up

We run a similar conv behind a 383 w/ a 292 mopar cam, have to shift any where from 64-6700.
Just not enough motor lol
64 polara stock, 3.91/ now 4.56
12.50s 106.5

Cam is a six pack spec/ cheater D/C custom grind my buddy makes ,all I can say is I hand the same converter behind my hemi that never went over 5800 rpm’s in a 65 Plymouth with the same suspension and the 60 foots were always 1.40 and that didn’t start happening until I put the 069 j converter in so with that being said I will take my chances with this experiment to lower the 60 foot time . Currently 1.84 is the best 60 foot I’ve been able to get The car seems lazy off the line the shift points are at 6000 rpm’s it would go higher but I have not tried to . One must remember this car is built with old stock parts from the seventies, eighties and I know a 12.90 / 13.20 car is slow but it is also fun and reliable .
