I like it BeeCool ,Ive got 17 inch Year one rallys for my 70 Bee. Ive thought of painting a red line on the outer lip of my wheels. Is that what you did? Or are those actually red line tires? I like the look of them.

Send me a pic of your Bee. Those are redlines tires from Coker. Cost more than the rims. I wish the redlines were a little farther away from the rim. On 15" in redlines look farther away, more defined. I couldn't find 16" magnums otherwise the front would have 16s and the back 17s

are those 17s or 18s, they look like bigger version of the old school ralley wheels.

If I'm not mistaken those are the 17s from Year One. A couple of my brothers customers have them on their cars.

What's the paint and stripes going to be? Are you still considering redlines?

Yes your correct I bought them last year at mopar nationals from year
one. Couldn't pass them up they look so natural on this 70. This car
also is set up with coil overs and 4 link in the rear from ride tech suspension. It is a work in progress but we feel we are on the right track!

How did you mount a hemi in your roadrunner? Motor plate? Aftermarket suspension? Nobody that I know of makes conversion mounts to put a 426 style hemi into a 73+ car. Thanks. - David

I used my original 440 motor mount on the passenger side and used the old Roland Osborn (NHOA) Elephant Ear solid mount on the Drivers side. I used the original K-member and suspension.

The OP didnt ask for anything but pictures, but in most cases, with 17" rims, up front anything with back space of about 4.5" or less will fit easily and in the rear about 5.5" or less. Again, easily.
I am going 17x8 front w/4" BS and 18x9 rear w/5"BS. Both setups allow over an inch clearance on the inside.
Outside clearance is a different matter, the front being trickier of course, and in all cases it depends on the car, other mods, etc.
If you have interest in setting up a specific car, just post up your question.

Well mines a 72, and I want 18s out back, but Ive done a lot of research and decided on the top setup in this picture (PVD finish aka black chrome). Sorry for the poor quality photoshopping but it gave me a good tool to help decide

I see that this original post is few years old and I wanted to see if you were to do it again would you go with the same size of tires and rims? I'm very close to buying the tires and rims for my 1972 GTX and I'm trying to make a well-informed purchase. I noticed your rim size but I'm not 100% sure on the tire sizes.

73+ are not my cup of tea...BUT I have to say...this is one eye-catching machine...Well Done!!
