If you can find a sure grip pig for $300, but it fast! Most of those centers I see selling in the $600-$800 range.thats kinda spensive

Dat's right....it was common in many passenger cars for a lot of years and was usually behind 318's with the 2.76 being in the bigger cars with big blocks.IIRC 2.94 is the common 66/67 gear ratio in a 8 3/4.
I've owned cars without AC before that had 2.94's in them....2.94's in cars with A/C.
