Another crazy thought. Is it possible to take a reg. apart to see what's wrong with it and maybe fix it? I get really nuts and start thinkin differently when I can't find a solution to a problem.

What is yours not doing?
The regulator clicks and jumps and I have to help the window up by pulling on the glass. I do know there is lot of adjustment that can be made, maybe that's the whole problem. Cant quite figure them out yet. I do have the FSM.

I just checked the parts book, Coronet & Charger are not the same regulator

Clicking? check the teeth and see if they are bent or broken off. If you have missing teeth they can be easily welded up with tig weld.
Thanks man, but the teeth are fine. What seems to be happening is when rolling the window up the gear appears to be moving sideways just a bit, towards the outside of the car. That's why I thought maybe something inside may be going bad.

Had this issue with my 69 roadrunner. Took a flashlight and looked down into the window regulator area and saw some bent arms on the regulator. Bought a used one from a member here and have no problems now. Good luck.
