Bad vibrations in steering wheel since build it up

Driveshaft balance.
Also, if automatic transmission, check the flexplate to ensure it's true/flat. I went through the same issues with my Super Bee although the entire car shook.

driveshaft I don’t think so , because first I not have vibration in the driver seat or in the whole car , like I know this problems from my station wagon with unbalanced drive shafts ..
in the Charger are also a nice , short Aluminium drive shaft from Danny’s drive line .
How about the flex. plate ? How I can check is it flat and straight without remove it? Just remove dust cover plate turn engine by hand and visual check ?

One of the tabs on my flexplate was bent then straightened out, a visual check would confirm if you have this exact same issue.
If not, to be completely sure, you'd want to pull it and confirm it's true on a level surface. This would be an absolute last resort considering all of the other information you've received in this thread. Check everything else first!

yes , maybe , but can I check a rotor is unbalanced on the car Installed, and how ? Or must remove the rotor of course ..?

A balanced rotor would have some material removed from around the edges.
Like a small scalloped area. Any cast rotor would not be perfect and should have been balanced.
All the premium Mopar rotors are factory balanced. Aftermarket is hit and miss.

Good luck.

I think there’s an issue with the engine. Better pull it and send it to me. I’ll replace it with a built 318. That should take care of the vibration.

I had a Challenger once that had a vibe to the steering wheel , it was a bad out of balance torque converter.Steering wheel would osculate at a certain speed real bad . Converter had a dent in it .

car stand from about 2009 to 2016 on the suspension and tires without any movement , first real drive with running engine was 2016.
and since the first test drive up to now the Charger have bad vibrations start about 60to 70 Miles up to 85-90 miles , after 90 miles I not can feel it really , only very very small vibration like a dildo Maschine from a woman.
I think you need to find a shop that can perform a 4-wheel balance. Not many shop understand old Mopars like the ones we have.
Modern shops just try and adjust tie-rod ends and be done with it. I have actually had shops tell me that they didn't want to align my GTX (excuses ranged from "takes too long" to "it might be expensive")....lucky I have friends who put me in the right direction.

Thanks, but I think my problem is in the suspension .

Yesterday I check my outer tie rods , never Check before because the vibrations since the first test drive there, and there was e erything brand new , the whole front suspension. .
But it looks like minimum the driver side of the outer tie rod are junk

Anyone knows about this screw ? Is one like on 12 and one on 6 a clock , it for holds the white insert inside?
I ask , because I found these 2 screws are little „ lose „

That’s the lower steering column bearing. Wouldn’t cause a vibration in my opinion. Just holds the steering shaft centered in the column.

Sorry, I complete suspension rookie
But anywhere , I think this are my bad vibrations in the steering wheel !
means I need two new outer and inner tie rods ..., but this my next problem because I not know how I can found theses part‘s .
I know only is a Flaming River rack and pinion ( but no part number , looks like FR1520 but not sure , but is a manual rack quick ) and I was thinking it’s a Mustang 2 spindle , but anywhere on my spindle is weld an extension tube for get fit the tie rod .
But I have no idea what company or part number these outer tie rods , and also not sure about the inner tie rods . But normally the inner must be flaming river , because they include with the rack and pinion , right ?
Maybe anyone Else here have a idea ?
Maybe someone here have also the same IFS front suspension ? It’s the 1 generation IFS from Control freak suspensions .

Ok, today I remove the dust cover on the rack and pinion, and see the “moving play “ is not in the Inner tie rod what I suspect before , it’s direct in the rack and pinion on the “ long” passenger side .
Can anyone say it’s normal play because on the long side of the steering shaft , or is not normal and I need a whole new rack and pinion ? The play you can see and feel only when the wheels are straight or you go with the steering to the right side ( passenger side ) if you turn to the left ( driver side ) the play will reduce not zero , because the inner tie rod shaft go inside the rack

Have you ruled out driveline angles? Steering wheel doesn't sound like that, but vibrations can sometimes be difficult to source.

Yes car drive also nice and straight , It seems for me the inner nylon inserts in the rack it self wear out and give that little play in the steel rod . Have to buy a new rack I think .

Ok
now I figure out the parts have wear , it’s the rack and pinion and the driver side rod end , that’s causes my vibrations in the steering wheel from about 65-85 miles . I also found out what a part number the flaming river rack is ( FR1502-5) and I will order a new flaming river Rack and pinion.
but now I still look for a replacement of this out end rods and maybe new sleeves ... the inner tie rod of the flaming river Rack&pinion have a 9/16-18 thread , means I need end rods with 9/16 male thread and 5/8” bore hole . i only found some from QA1 with 9/16 but female thread and I need male thread .
any idea where I can found some ?

top picture is what I found from QA1 but with female thread , and I need male thread

Below picture is actual rod end with some wear and sleeve

Ah now I found out they sell sleeves from 9/16 to 5/8 and I connect a nice 5/8 thread new end rod on it , perfekt .
I’m right if I recommend a high quality made in USA 3 piece construct with inner Teflon liner the best choice for the rod end ?
Whats the different in Heim or spherical joint ‘s ?
