Ballast Resistor Keeps Blowing Out ??

I have a 73 Satellite with factory Elect ignition. The car runs great. Everything electric in the car works fine. It charges fine etc.
In the past month it has blown out 3 of the double ballast resistors ??
All the wiring looks good and is plugged in correctly.
I can't find a reason for them to keep blowing out ?? Anybody got any ideas ??

Where did you buy your ballast resistor at ? I do not buy anything electical from Advance Auto,Auto Zone etc it is garbage.

I remember a post somewhere about a year ago from one site. Some of these dual ballasts were actually reversed. Bad from the factory. I'll look through my stuff and see if I can come up with some resistance values that you can check first.
