Can't believe Pia got the boot. I thought he was gonna win the whole thing.She had the best package.

I wouldn't ever agree with the "Best Package" in regards to Pia! She could sing very well,,,, VERY WELL,,, but if you didn't like boring stand in one spot female balads,,, then she wasn't a "package"... At least from an entertainer perspective. We already have a Celine Dion if that's your thing.
I would say that Casey Abrams has the best "all around package" out of any contestants this year... Search youtube for him and listen to the full version of heard it through the grapevine "studio version". He plays, sings, and entertains on the stage...
Also watch him sing Georgia..I dont think he cut a full length studio version "too bad".
Scotty bugs me with his unusual stance and quirky shoulder crooked hand funny looks when he sings.... Not pleasent to watch!
Paul is horrible!!! don't know who's voting for him?!
I'm tired of the gossple singer,,, he has to go too.
Haley now ends up being the best female contestant,,, the others are just OK.
James is good and a great entertainer on the stage "a true rocker" but I think people might be tired of hearing the same ol thing with him as well..??

I'm not a Casey fan at all. I think the dude is very strange and he's pretty rough on the eyes.
I think Haley is pretty good, cute
Paul has a very different sound almost like Rod Stewart.Not bad.
James Durdin is alright.
The black dude is too freakin feminine, Dont like him at all.
Cowboy guy Scotty has a very good country voice but it doesnt match his mug. He might take it. Next week should tell alot.
PIA was the best IMHO.

Yesterday I read that Pia got a record contract with Interscope Records, which is chaired by Jimmy Lovine, the Idol mentor this year. I hope she does as well as Daughtry.

This is the first year I've watched it, and only because my Mom has it on when I visit her in the assisted living facility where she lives. I have to admit though, that I have picked some favorites, and Pia was one. I expected her to be in the top three or four anyway, and she was by far the best of the female artists. Scotty, Casey and Paul are the only ones left that I think are good enough to win, and of those, I think Scotty is the best.
Glad to hear Pia got a recording contract. I expect everyone in the top eleven will have that opportunity.

JAMES won't win. the turrets thing is gonna be his downfall. he can yell but he's not polished.
that guy paul has got a weird but distinct voice. he make shock alot of people and pull it off. hes a good performer. that raspy voice can seperate him from the others.

My wife watches it religously.

When I remodeled this house which has a great room floorplan, we built an entertainment unit that flows into a large desk set up next to the big screen stereo, etc. so my computer is right next to the TV. I hear it while I am on this site or others and when something sounds interesting I roll my office chair back to take a look. A lot of good talent. Unfortunately the winners are determined by the people that vote across America and the ones that do all of the voting are teenage girls or "tweens."
