I have a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. I have previously posted here about my problem making the Beep-Beep horn work on my car. Thanks to input from members that problem was solved. However, I recently removed the steering wheel and replaced it with a new one. Now the horn will not work again. I replaced all of the horn button contact points parts with new aftermarket units. They were worn and I thought replacing would eliminate future problems. I noticed as I was replacing the parts that the spring loaded brass roller contact was not round but looked lumpy. The spring itself works just fine. I could not find anywhere that had a replacement for this part. So I carefully put everything back together replacing all of the old horn button parts except for this brass roller (Picture of roller included). Horn would not work at all. I am sure someone has had this problem before. Can anyone give me a vendor that has this part? Or what did you do to make the horn work. Took the car to the Good Guys Nationals last weekend in Scottsdale and someone wanted to hear the Beep-Beep horn. I was very embarrassed to say it does not work. Help please! Thanks.

Knowing what part to ask for really helps with the search engine. Put Turn Signal Assembly in and out popped several places that had it available. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Part ordered now looking for a You tube instructional video to show me how to replace the part.

Don't just buy "any" switch. You'll save yourself heartache if you can find an NOS one. OE Part # for a '69 Runner is 2857241 and there are some newer superceded #'s as well that work. I don't have those numbers handy, but they're on a thread in FBBO somewhere.

You're gonna pay about $350US for one generally, but the supply has pretty much dried up..
