Bell Housing question

I have a bell that came from a 66 Belvedere with a 318 3 speed trans. Will a 833 4 speed bolt up to it

Yes but the hole in the bell may not fit the bearing retainer.

100 years ago when I was a teenager, I was a chevy fan. They were light years ahead of every one else when it came to interchanging parts. One bellhousing fit all engines and all transmissions, all motor mounts were the same etc. When I joined the world of mopar, it was hard to get used to the lack of interchangeability.
