I think I took a mini bike and a muscle bike clone (it was a Sears version of a Schwinn Orange Krate) that was cool.

I used to see those time out kids. Hated them.

It drives me nuts when I see cars smothered in previous car show trophies and awards. Even worse, when they use the Stars & Stripes as a table cloth to dress stuff up around the car. I think laying any country's flag on the ground is disrespectful.

If the car needs glitter and trinkets to make it stand out from the pack....the car is not up to standard IMHO

I use my stuffed plush Roadrunner behind the steering wheel in the driver's seat and my smaller Coyote under the front tire on a mat that looks like a section of highway when I go all out at a show. Children (of ALL ages) love the display....
I don't have to do that to make my Roadrunner stand out, but the smiles and laughter, and sometimes conversations that generates is priceless!

It was more about those guys who cover their car in previously won trophies...a bit tacky IMHO.
Coyote getting run over is all good.

Takes the glamour away from the car. You don't want an accessory that becomes the attraction.

How about the Corvette guys with the Corvette sunglasses, Corvette sun visor/ball cap, Corvette canopy, Corvette lawn chairs, Corvette coolers, Corvette wrist watch, Corvette jacket, etc.

I don't mind mirrors under a pristine undercarriage, a plaque telling the cars history or mods but really dislike trophies all over the place or those crying stuffed dolls... still don't get that one. I'm most happy just to see the car sitting as it was driven and parked.

You could consider me lazy, I wash it up good, drive it to a show and park it. I'm there to check out cars and talk to the owners, that's what it's all about to me.

Agree completely.....The best part of any show is talking to the owners.....

I agree with ya both.....my undercarriage has black paint and road grime on it and the rear wheel wells have too much burnt rubber in them to show off :):D. I wash er up and hit the highway and enjoy the atmosphere.

Post #5 says it all. But the car is no longer the star.

I like when someone has a photo album on the core support at a show so that everyone can look thru that shows from the start to the finished product. It's nice to see all the love & work that went into the vehicle.

I made a post last year about bringing trophies to car shows...I NEVER understood it... it makes them look so insecure...Do you go on a 1st date with pics of all the girls you banged?
As far as accessories...I used to put a pitchfork on the antennae of my demon...but that is subtle compared to some of these jabronies.
My trophies stay in the garage...especially the 6' ones
