hi
I just switched from electric pump to the edelbrock 7123 pump (110 GPH) on my 440. I have a bullet mechanical roller cam. Is the comp cam 4646 the best choice of fuel push rod to go with? Thanks. Erik.

Thanks guys. Ordering today. As far as install. Pull plug in block, feed rod in as deep as possible with assembly grease to hold deep in the block. (Does engine orientation make any difference, I.e at TDC?). Put pump on with grease on pump arm and reinstall plug on block.

that's it

If installing the pump you meet a lot of resistance trying to get the pump square enough with the block to get the bolts started, then turn the crank to reposition the cam lobe. (That was a long one)

Sorry, wish I knew what the timing of it is for the shortest pushrod position.

So here's the latest in my saga. I went to install the 4646 rod and roll the motor to find the lowest spot to make install of pump easier. Had my dad hold the fuel rod against the cam as I rolled the engine. He said no movement of rod. It's a roller cam. No eccentric?
