Best oil pan seal???

About the price of metal without the gaskets. Would be real interesting to see how the nylon and glass tray holds up after 70,000 miles.

As a young guy I once replaced the rear main seal in my 1969, 383 Coronet w/727. Once done I jumped into the Dodge cranked it up and proudly looked under the car to view my handy work......only to find a growing puddle of 10W-30 under it?! Yes, you guessed it, a $3.00 oil pressure sending unit had gone bad at the top rear of the engine......

fortunately I just put a tranny in so I could clearly see that the back of the block is dry, that would really suck though.

I really doubt I'll ever accumulate that many miles without tearing it open for something so if I go this route I guess I'll find out.
