Wasn't there a black A body in this ordeal?
Emerald Ash borer. It has the trees guys making $$$$$ as now cause they are falling BUT they have been standing dead for quite a few years now... Now everyone is tired of cleaning up the small branches and don't want to see when the whole things falls naturally. I just started cleaning up this one that came down back in early October of course its covered in poison ivy...All the ash trees here are dying due to bug infestation & Im having a bunch taken down on the property line between me and my neighbor. There’s one on his property that, if it fell, would land on my garage. That one too is getting axed.
No fireplace or BBQ?Cleanup day.

At the first place we lived in Ramona, mobile/modular home park, the owners/manager wouldn't take responsibility for tree maintenance. So we took it upon ourselves to have the trees, 8 Oaks on our lot with 3 against the house, thinned out or laced. Did that every other year. When you hear limbs cracking right over your roof it's kind of scary. The one year we didn't get it done, the one tree that was dying but not according to the office, broke and gave us holes in the roofs. After that, no more big trees. There was one very long limb, probably 30', that was the first one to get trimmed off. It was a foot plus in diameter where it attached to the trunk. Very big and heavy. You could check into the thinning/lacing to avoid full removal, unless the tree is diseased.I hate getting rid of trees. I love the shade and the look of a yard with many trees.
