Have you checked his revised description yet? the one in giant red print!
The guy's kinda funny for a D-bag!

is the back window where the new vin tag goes??? :jerk:

maybe the tag popped out of the front, and landed in the back...yeah that's it!! {hint of sarcasm}

:BSMeter::bs_flag:

No one does all that work just to go from post to hardtop. He probably didn't realize the VIN code difference before he tagged the car. Weather it's stolen or not is another question.

I have a question if i was going to buy a mopar gtx, or any b mopar car how do i make sure the car vin and body # are correct, some cars for sale have fender tags some don't is this a problem and how do i match body #'s up agaist the vin #'s to make sure the car is correct.

I DON'T LIKE THIS THREAD!!!!!

This sounds like something you would read over at Moparts in their Ebay / Craigslist / Racingjunk / WIW forum with all of the bashing.

I hope this is not an indication of where this site is going. If it is I will be gone as I bet many others that came to this site to get away from the Moparts CRAP will be too.

Thanks for calling him out. I have gotten screwed on craigslist several times because I am trusting. It is sad there are not honest people out there as much anymore or people with such bad memories as they say. LOL.

this thread (IMHO) was begun as a learning experience for all...you must ALWAYS do your homework before you buy a car.

it just goes to show that either a) people don't know what they are selling, (and if they did the restoration, imagine the quality it would be if they dont know what they are doing) or b) they are crooks.

let's not start comparing this site to MoCrap. this is an intelligent, and democratic forum. this is sarcasm, not bashing. there were no personal attacks on any members, just a load of BS from a seller on e-bay. and he got caught red-handed.

also, lets not jump to conclusions about the forum as a whole because of one thread. this guy was trying to pull a fast one, and he got caught. nothing more, nothing less. so he gets made fun of, well it his own fault for trying to cheat people.

i was just trying to illustrate that there are still people trying to get away with crap, and we cannot let that happen in our hobby. it will degrade the hobby and thats not good for any of us.

im sorry if i offended you, 696pack, but i felt that this guy had to be sorted out to see if it was an honest mistake, or he was trying to get away something sinister.

I DON'T LIKE THIS THREAD!!!!!

I believe I have heard it said before " If you don't like the topic of the thread then don't bother reading or responding to it"

I don't see anything wrong with pointing out incorrect, misleading or false advertising in online for sale/auction listings. If one of our goals as a community is to enlighten others, particularly those of us who may be new to the Mopar hobby, then these type of threads are benificial. Did the guy make an honest mistake? Is the car a stolen or rebodied? Who knows but without knowing what to look for or what questions to ask, someone, maybe one of us could get burned.

If I were bidding on this car and reading this forum, I sure would like to run across this thread. Instead of buying the car, taking it to a mopar show and have it pointed out to me there.
