Accidentally stumbled into that shop while my wife was attending a side gig in SLC a few years ago.

Talked to "cousin____" (can't remember the name).

I stopped watching the show about three years ago, they essentially build the same car over and over,and I have little tolerance for Kevdog.

It looks like Freiburger is going back to his You Tube days. Maybe they can start a whole new channel with new content.

I liked "Fantomworks<" they tended to show more "real world" things that happen in the shop. Not just 30 minutes of jokes, "expert" commentary, and presto the car is finished. Particularly liked the show when Ed Miller built a Hem for them.

Got tired of Dan's attitude and all the 'beeps' not to mention the way he tests brakes. I wonder how many tires he flat spotted....

They did a fairly good job of disguising their manufactured drama.

"This is NOT a convertible quarter panel replacement, why didn't you notice?".

I have my own reality, true reality, show everyday here at home. Anything else is fantasy/fiction. YouTube stuff is truly informative without the unneeded drama.

Like said, Warner Bros. buys MotorTrend and has shut it down, except for a few shows, that still had contracts pending, so all the smart guys in class tell us! There was a big discussion over on FABO about it all.
Only part about Kendigs flick was watching their metal fabs sometimes.
Seems like it is hard for common guys like me to dig the ultra high end builds!!!! Especially with the bandaide tires and getto wheels!!

Same here, bro!

Listen to the cadence of Kindig's voice every time he is in one of those scenes where he is sitting and speaking into the camera. It is JUST like Dan Short. The tone rises and falls a few times and then drops as the sentence ends. IT is really annoying once you notice it. It is surely how the scripts are written and those two follow to the letter. The YouTube guy from Dead Dodge Garage speaks the same way.

Dudes with stupid beards are annoying to look at. I see Kindig and I want to hold the dude down and cut his beard with a dull rock.
Dudes that wear a hat pulled down to their eyes with the ears tucked in? D O R K S. You can add that guy from Texas Metal to that list along with a few of those Street Outlaws guys.

Shitty shows, some say or scripted '**** like Graveyards Cars' too
grab-*** insulting BS, yet I still watched for the cars alone
even if it is an all stock :jackoff:
just another belly button car, like painted wheels & dog dish hubcaps,
everyone has one... For the umpteenth time...
At least it's MoPars, mostly E or B bodies, a few A bodies sprinkled in now
or I wouldn't even ever watch...
I do like his conseptions of Dream Cars (? whatever he calls it)
where they build, what kind of "day 2" car you want it to be,
better suspension, wheels & tires, performance camshafts, different paint/colors etc.
Not just another 'cookie cutter mass produced crap'

He/Mark, actually they his crew did, he doesn't do ****, except act,
tell horrid jokes, sing & dance like an idiot & pay/produce the show & the bills now...

They did a couple with modern suspension & gen 3 Hemi's too
a couple of them for SEMA were pretty cool, Lil' Dead Express A100 tribute...
I do not like Mark's scripted characters "at all", stupid BS, really weak *** childish BS
he's not funny...
(he may be a great guy in person, but his TV personality & I want to
"punch him in the face repeatedly"
)
Some of the same people talking **** about 'Kindigit Design', like Mark :realcrazy:
In-fact IMHFO it/he ruins the show, what other wise would be a decent show
& I have to fast forward thru it...
"yet it still aires/aired"

IMHFO any of these "scripted" car shows, that get canceled
is taking away automotive content & interests, some advertisers $$s too
less product to buy, less interests in the cars, it will trickle down to US eventually...

Just like Barret Jackson or Mecum Auctions...
They have a purpose...

People here sure bitch & moan about the shows, but;
then bitch & moan about them going away :realcrazy:

I hated "Fantomworks" the lead/owner guy Dan,
or the lipstick on a pig style, shade tree quality builds...
I do respect what he did for a couple of Military guys cars. scripted **** I'm sure...
It's been done/over for a while now, like over a year now,
just syndicated/reruns...
It was just a car show, they are all scripted...

That one show, with Courtney Hansen's Royal Garage
"Dream Rides" (? show name eludes me)
is the worst...

I don't like the ratty cars built/builds all over now, just another
"Rat Rods" extended into the muscle car era now, trendy stuff...
but;
I like the rest of the content & some or most of the characters/actors, grunts,
so I watch, & I DVR most all of shows like;
Bitchin Rides, Roadkill, Roadkill Garage, Roadworthy Rescue, Hot Rod Garage,
Faster with Cotton & Newburn (Finnegans old show), Junkyard Gold etc.

We loose these shows, we loose product advertisements & power in the industry...
PARTS availability...

Things I liked about "Bitchin' Rides" was the detail "in metal work"
they showed a lot of it
they have some seriously talented 'metal guys',
good paint & body guys too
Even if some of the builds/designs weren't or aren't exactly my style
yeah;
I don't like the huge hoops & those rubber band tires either
but the show had good content, I'm big enough to see past that & I will miss it...
Life goes on...

My $1.25, it's a not debatable to me, just my opinion,
just like "belly buttons, everyone has one" that's mine

Rachel Bohnet from Country Customs shown sometimes on Rust Valley Restorations. I sometimes catch some of their videos on their builds. They do some nice work IMO. I also watch videos of Dave Rea and his work on Mopars. Best thing he ever did was to leave that fool Mark Woman.
