Just about every newer car on the road today is either white, black or gray.

Silver generally has a metallic content. You can have a dark metallic silver vs. a very light gray.

...at 36,000 miles, I needed another truck right away. I refused to buy a boring color. I almost flew to Arizona to get something. I stumbled upon my 2007 truck at a dealership 20 miles away. It was NOT listed in their inventory.....

to the 7 bar grille. I believe
they even took GM to court
for their attempt at a 7 bar
grille on a Hum-Vee.

I don't think so. The body configuration ( hardtop, sedan, wagon ) is similar. Styling ? Not so.

The only thing different in an all rear view is the slant of the gm collanade wagon.

Put 8 60's, 70's, 80's wagons in a row, just photo the tails and it would look extremely similar to the OP's pic.

That court case was dismissed, because of shared roots. The Hum-Vee was originally developed by AMC's AM General division which was sold off a couple of times before GM bought it.

I will say, my Renegade does not look like any other small to medium size CUV.
Not gonna be mistaken for anything but maybe another Jeep.
