I call them "trannys".I believe that they are called crossover vehicles.
Silver generally has a metallic content. You can have a dark metallic silver vs. a very light gray.Silver is just a lighter shade of gray..
Love the color.This is pathetic....
Do you want to eat bologna every day? Do you want to listen to the same song all the time? Wear the same color shirt?
I am so disappointed in how people just conform to the herd.
Black, silver, white.....
No way, man. Not for me. The wife won't drive a boring color and neither will I.

...at 36,000 miles, I needed another truck right away. I refused to buy a boring color. I almost flew to Arizona to get something. I stumbled upon my 2007 truck at a dealership 20 miles away. It was NOT listed in their inventory.....

It had a few things I didn't need but it was a great color....

Agreed.30, 40 years ago a manufacturer would sue another for stealing a certain part or look.
Wouldn't it be awful if the only shirt you could buy was a Hawaiian one!

I don't think so. The body configuration ( hardtop, sedan, wagon ) is similar. Styling ? Not so.
That court case was dismissed, because of shared roots. The Hum-Vee was originally developed by AMC's AM General division which was sold off a couple of times before GM bought it.Agreed.
Jeep still has patent rights
to the 7 bar grille. I believe
they even took GM to court
for their attempt at a 7 bar
grille on a Hum-Vee.
with metallic in it ...Silver is just a lighter shade of gray..
