Nope. I have seen numbers in the teens on blocks and if I remember, they were towards the end of their production life. Like a 72 or 73 340 block.That means it’s the Third Time They Tried To Get A Casting In Spec Before Lunch ……

That makes sense.That is which pattern was used. If they have a problem with a block they have to know which pattern is causing the problem.
