Bought a 70

we have action! lmao....... and actually, it's the first I really looked it over

my first move is to gap everything as close to perfect as I can. The doors and trunk lid won't move for a while, as they will serve as my jig.

the doors were both hanging low, but the hinges were tight in that position..... and there was plenty of room for adjustment. All those bolts were TIGHT, and obviously never disturbed...... little lazy on the assembly line?

not sure what's up with the deck lid...... it's almost as if the trunk hinge brackets were installed too far rearward . Maybe it's one of those "Friday cars" :D..... nothing's bent, and it opens and shuts fine; so I modified the deck lid a little, it'll be our secret.

oh, I have a nice lower tie bar in my pile to replace the smashed one........ it was forcing the hood latch support too high :blah:

nice straight car....... now we can get rid of half of it

have some pictures ...... :poke:

Excellent work Mark. I have to bend your ear about adjusting my door. It has nice tight hinges but it sits the same as that one was.

waiting for a truck to give me my life back...... this thing is like a clog in my toilet

Now you can walk right up to the Dutchman. Those outer wheel houses look great! How is the tail light panel now that it's apart?
