.........and you know it like a poet.
I need to get my block to a shop right now.. this is the only time i miss not having a truck.. everything is fine til you need oneYeah, I had a good shop in Ohio that had a new hand come in and they screwed up my valve job and other things with a completely new build. In fairness and respect to the shop owners and family, I declined their offers to make it right. That head guy was fired shortly thereafter. The shop was just too far away from me to go back and forth, so I bailed. They had a good reputation though in the race scene in Ohio.
Good shops are now down southeast where. lot more tracks are active almost year round. Lucky Southern Comforters.
My stuff is done by two shops that do it at their house. They're very unhigh tech appearing. They both do great work. All my race stuff and customer work goes to them. Enginecraft, Dave Harmon. Fisher Precision, Phil Fisher.Where did you go to in Detroit?
wow you got that back fast.Dropped off my block on Saturday and picked it up today.
Looks great.

That's the answer I was looking for and didn't get, so I had it redoneI wonder if they got honed the proper way then installed backwards...
yeah, at the end of the day as long as it's corrected that's all that matters. That's the answer I was looking for and didn't get, so I had it redone
Did he turn them around? He said they weren't horrible but they were off.
Yes, they're pointing forwardDid he turn them around?
Doug
