brake cables (size ?)

Just wondering if any one knows the length size of the break cables for a 1969 roadrunner. bought some but wrong size. I think one cable is longer than the other. Thanks NICK

Brake cables..........Are you talking about the parking brake cables or the brake adjuster overload cable and springs?

Parking brake cables should be a different length where they split from the main cable coming from the front. Shorter one goes to the left wheel because it is much closer to the split assembly off the main parking brake cable.

Adjuster cables should be the same length contained in the brake assembly.

As long as it reaches and the housing to cable ratio is the same, your fine...If the whole assembly is too long, find some extra space to tuck the cable. Either way, if it was a longer cable or a short one, it will still pull the same amount and engage the shoe's just the same as long as it seats correctly at the split of the main cable and into the drum backing plate. If you're going for correct look/fit, well..I guess you'll have to reorder.

No prob. Glad to help. I put a replacement parking brake cable for my right rear brake and it was longer than the factory one. Works fine.
