I am replacing the front brake pads on my 73 charger and cant seem to get the piston down, i tried piston tool from napa to get it down, and it broke after a little bit of struggling. it defiantly worked a little bit. I have no idea why it wont work, but does anyone have any ideas please? thanks

The caliper bore is probably gunked and or rusted. pop it apart and rebuild them . it's just a dust seal and an o-ring

just tried a big c clamp, broke my thumb so its sort of hard to turn, will give it another go in the morning. if that doesn't work then ill buy the stuff to rebuild them!

carefull!if a c clamp didnt work you may be damaging the piston.dont try to push it in anymore, pull it apart and find out what is wrong.put the outside pad in place with a rag drapped over it and put air presure to the hole where the hose hooks up with the bleeder tight.it should pop out pretty easy.
