I have these 1976 Volare Front disc brake set ups to go on my 1967 Coronet 500. They are pretty rusty. In cleaning out the vent chambers around the outer edge I noticed some are worn out and cracked. What's the rule here? Can these rotors be used still? Plenty of meat left on the braking surfaces.

Does it look as bad as this one?

Rotors are usually fairly cheap, I wouldn't use them.

Rotors absorb and dissipate heat caused by friction stopping 3-4 thousand pounds of moving mass. As I told customers, would you be willing to risk that failure for only a few bucks ?
