Hey guys!
My name is Brian! I’ve been a long time outside browser seeking information as I need it, and have decided to utilize all the information available here from the many brains that help keep car culture alive. I have gained so much from browsing these forums so I finally decided to bring myself in to seek more information and provide where I can.

My car is a 1965 Dodge Corornet 440 318ci. She has factory a/c, and aftermarket wheels and (an older) stereo. I don’t plan on doing many mods to it unless I have a drastic drivetrain failure. The goal is to get it to driver condition and back on the road, reliably. Being a single year car, I’ve ran into several issues trying to replace components that are no longer made and only belong on this single year wonder. I’ll try to post updates periodically but currently I’m correcting an improper top end rebuild, assuming they tore down for head gaskets. When I tore it down I found the intake to be leaking coolant into the valley and improper rocker arm adjustment caused a broken pushrod and multiple bent ones. Slowly but surely she will be corrected and put back on the road for my personal enjoyment. Any input and information for this beauty would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for loving these old babies like I do!

Welcome from the central coast of Cal. My 65 had the Poly originally which got changed to a 440 by my friend, who used to own it, back in the 70's. Current motivation, when I get it on the road, is an Indy 500" wedge.

Welcome @yaters08 ! I also have a 65 Coronet 440 318 poly. I haven't needed much, but I did find a missing piece of interior trim at Layson's, a vendor here on the forum.

First impressions: straight, solid, nothing missing & looking very good. Take care of mechanical issues and enjoy!!

Welcome from Alabama, you don't see to many poly 318's fail, but if someone did a failed repair, I get it. Correct that and enjoy for many years.
