Yes, they still chaf the paint and it was scuffed way back when I bought the car in '90 so didn't care. The cables won't be top side when driving from here on out...Looking good
A question about the hood pin cables. Are they plastic coated to keep them from chafing the paint?
some dork setting the hood on it's ears in the 80's.
LOL, hood pin and cable where it can't scratch anything. Most guys lay them out straight across the nose and headlight door.
Think I'll take the '64 for a cruise tomorrow! LOLSoon be driving her!
Nope, gave it to my lawyer to go after their underwriter AVIVA. Got tired of typing ignored emails...None of my business and you certainly don't have to respond, but since we all have to trust our insurance companies it seems relevant.. Did Hagerty ever square with you?
Makes us all feel good about spending money on our collectors car insurance.... Hope your lawyer gets it squared away.... With enough over and above the damages to pay the attorneys fees..Nope, gave it to my lawyer to go after their underwriter AVIVA. Got tired of typing ignored emails...
Good Luck!I've used the same guy for 38 years, won't cost me a dime for him to threaten them. We'll see where it goes from there..
