With a proper driver it would have ran mid 14s they left soft, left late and short shifted the car. Once you break the beam the clock is running.
I agree and see you're on course HOWEVER;
Speculating they would run 14s, based on a 17.8 run is pure folly .

Should and will a bone stock 375 horse charger run 14s? All of them.
These guys must be ret%rds

70 440 cars run around 13.8 to 14.4 on average,383 cars run 14.5 to 15.2 on average. They were not familar with driving American musclecars. My 68 383 2 barrel Charger ran 15.4 at 89 MPH. Completely stock except for headers.

Hulk Hogan owns this sweet 68 Charger R/T that was originally a 440 car,but now has a Hemi in it. He still owns his 69 Road Runner from his high school days,and has a 71 Cuda,and a 66 Caprice 427 car. He has a Modern Demon Challenger and a Hellcat Redeye Charger as well.

Joe Namath was given a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T by Dodge for winning the MVP when the Jets won the 1969 Superbowl. The car shown on the field at the game was this red 69 Charger R/T,but I saw pictures that I wasn't able to download show a B5 Blue 69 Charger R/T which he may still own to this day.

Supposedly Actor Robert Goulet was in possession of three different Daytona Chargers,two of them were 69 models,one is rumored to be the missing B5 blue 70 Daytona 440 sixpack sunroof car. Supposedly one of the 69 Daytona's ended up in Big Willie Robinsons hands,the other one is probably the one in this advertisement.

I have wondered if this white Charger in two lane blacktop and my white Charger R/T might be the same car. White car white top both California Chargers. They didn't show enough of the white Charger to see any specific identifying features.

The last picture in the first post from Chargervert. Is that a till from the movie or is it a recreation? The one with both cars and the blurred background.

That is a still photo of an action shot from the movie Two Lane Blacktop,The Charger appears to have the pinstripes on the right rear quarter meaning it is an R/T model. My car had the pinstripes around the doorscoop from the factory too.
