I'd get the vinyl, it'll be the right color, cut correctly, cheaper, plus, if it's put on wrong, you can immediately peel it off. If they screw it up. Paint won't be the right color, you could end up with paint bleed from under the masking tape, plus, once it's on, whether it's right or wrong, that's it.[/QUOTE. The only original colors available were red, black, or white. The car is nowhere near original. So i plan on having my painter paint it in hemi orange. I like the gold metallic in it. Which wouldn't be visible in any vinyl. I also like the thought of having waxable clear coat on it. And if the paint bleeds under the tape, its his problem, not mine. Thanks though.
