Bumblebees

Well I'm glad to hear no one was seriously hurt....but locking the door was priceless! It's hell to be a man!!!

was wondering if your bees could open the door ! LOL we call the wood living- hole boring kind "wood bores", I didn`t think they would sting. diesel fuel will get rid of them if you spray it on the wood and in the holes, and leave a toe sack hung up, soaked in it. but you got to be careful not ignite it. real strongly mixed dish soap and water will eventually get rid of the bees in the ground, if mixed strongly enough and poured down the hole in large enough amounts to fill it up.
which by the way will kill almost any insect on contact, w/ exception of the crusty skinned ones, it takes a little longer. try it it`s cheap !

There is one thing I never knew until it was too late.
Each time you get stung, your system will neutralize the venom. After you are stung a certain amount of times, you end up with too much venom and your system won't handle it anymore. It stays in you system forever. Then you become allergic to insect bites all together. It's not the same as being born with the allergies. It will effect mostly your muscles and certain organs. Not normally breathing and tongue swelling like when you're born with it.
This is what's happened to me over the years of getting stung numerous times. I'll get stung on the back of the hand and somewhere else will show the reaction, like on my back. I use to carry an epipen, then the ER visit. The last time they gave me a ringer of Benadryl. So now, each time I take the pill form and it seems to do ok without going to the ER.
Lesson is, avoid being stung at all costs so you don't become allergic!
