Caliper Mounting Bolt Torque Specification

I pay attention to how tight they are when you take them apart and the size of the bolt. Yes, I know rust and age can make them tighter but if it takes a long handled 1/2" ratchet to break them loose, you should use the same tool to put them back on. Think about it this way, in 125 years of car repairs, billions of fasteners have been removed and replaced without a torque wrench to reassemble and with no issues. Use a little common sense.

When these manuals cover multiple systems you need to read deeper into the assemblies for more information. They tend to make you think but the information usually is there. In your case the knuckle torque is in the repair par along with the pin torque which was not listed. Also the end of the page which you posted with wheel size which triggered responses.

I agree thats why I said in post 13 I went back into the manual assembly instructions thinking they buried in there and explained the range 50-80 but no it didn’t.
Did I miss something in your post that specifically what torque is correct rather than the 50-80 range?

Your fine. But the torque was cited in the manual. I posted a copy of the page a few links back.
