I have replaced the power brakes with manual. I received an adjustable pushrod but it is too long to fit the power brake linkage under the dash. Can anyone tell me how to install the new adjustable pushrod?

manual brakes have a different master cylinder bracket that positions the push rod lower. on manual brake cars the push rod comes directly out the back of the master cylinder and connects directly to the pedal. you need the manual brake bracket and push rod for easy installation.

I have the manual firewall plate and master cylinder installed. It lines up the brake pedal hole almost straight in line with where the pushrod goes into the master cylinder. I just wanted to make sure I didn't need the old linkage.

Thanks
